Welcome to Back to Basics, a collaborative training between the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Ohio Provider Resource Association.

 

Back to Basics is a free, comprehensive and continual, in-person training series meant to help attendees focus on the fundamentals of providing services to individuals with disabilities. Trainings are free and open to all providers and county board staff.

Register for a training:

Each location has a morning and afternoon session. Please note not all morning and afternoon sessions begin at the same time. Content is the same during both sessions. To register for a session, please click on the time you wish to attend.

September: Guiding Individuals Through Life Transitions

This session will focus on how to assist individuals through transition. SSAs and other subject matter experts will discuss the responsibility of providers when it comes to the initiation or termination of services. It will focus on ways to ensure a smooth transition for all involved.
