Training Our Next Generation of Leaders
Recognizing the importance of training tomorrow’s industry leader, OPRA offers Advance Leadership Training.
As our industry leaders mature, the intellectual and developmental disabilities service system will soon be faced with a shortage of quality, experienced executives. OPRA hopes to ensure the system develops the next generation of knowledgeable, disciplined thinkers to move into leadership positions in provider agencies. This program is meant for employees in your agency identified as having the potential to be outstanding administrative leaders now and into the future.
Details
This is a year-long intensive training set to begin in January and conclude in October of every year. The ADVANCE Training class will meet the 4th Thursday of every other month with the exception of the last two meeting dates. Participants will meet virtually via Zoom during the dates listed below.
All participants need to complete the assigned readings and materials prior to each meeting. Only one (1) excused absence is permitted for the duration of the training.
