Accountability is part of any successful HIPAA compliance program --
and the way to achieve accountability is through monitoring activities.
Effective monitoring ensures that required compliance activities are
assessed and checked on a routine basis. In this session, participants
will receive guidance on incorporating monitoring activities within an
annual work plan. Such activities include: management of 3rd party
contracts; training programs and staff awareness; ongoing building and
IT security checks and maintenance; and breach response plans.

Learning objectives to build competency in:

❏ Tracking reporting processes through a work plan
❏ Planning for accountability
