OPRA provides advocacy and representation for our Provider Members to policymakers.

Our goals are to keep members informed, to provide opportunities to weigh in on major issues as they are being decided, and to ensure that the Provider voice is heard by public officials.

Ultimately, we work with our Members and policymakers to shape Ohio's service system so that individuals with DD can lead increasingly independent, productive, and integrated lives.

Current Issues
Be informed and share ideas about short-term issues with specific outcomes related to administrative rules or statute.

Public Policy Issues
Be informed and share ideas about long-term, ongoing issues in the field of developmental disabilities.

Rules
Be informed and share comments about rules as they are being formally created/updated.

PAC
OPRA’s PAC works to ensure that public officials hear the needs of OPRA's Provider Members. Direct donations to OPRA PAC and registration fees for PAC events are used to support influential federal and state elected policymakers.
